"Don’t Leave Melody" End Credits
Due to the recent rise of book-to-movie adaptations, I took it upon myself to create a credits sequence of my own for a story I’ve been wanting to write since high school. A story where an android’s reality blurs between what’s her programming and what’s her real life when she meets a young man who’s relationship is in denial of their downfall, causing the android to add in software to protect the man from anything that causes him emotional harm.

Storyboard
Using my love of the national holiday, Halloween, I created a storyboard for the end credits sequence with the intention of making it into a daylight horror film, featuring a murderous woman, while adding subtle nods to some clichéd horror items that have been used in books recently.
Assets and Programs
The process was made by drafting the items first, eyes, a bottle of poison, and a knife, in Adobe Illustrator before combining everything together in Adobe After Effects. I sectioned each transition into their own compositions for easier organization and additional transitions, from sliding in and out of frame to continuous spinning.
